1 – YOUR BUSINESS TIP

“Those who don’t learn from the past are doomed to repeat it”.

Wise words.  I share them with you as I meet with our 90dayaccelerator members and hope today’s message helps you to make Quarter 2 better than Quarter 1.  

However good your first quarter was – we consciously take time out to review and see what happened.

  • Did you achieve all you intended to?  (Presuming you had a plan/goals)
  • Did you struggle to get everything done?
  • Did other stuff come in that you hadn’t even thought of (that usually happens for most of us)
  • What can you learn from a quick review of Q1?
  • How will you USE that learning to adjust for Q2 – April, May and June?

I’m also reminded of Lewis Carroll’s Cheshire Cat quote.

I’m delighted to be working with business owners who are focussing on achieving their goals, the things that will make their lives and businesses better, more enjoyable and more profitable.

Sadly, there are others who drift from quarter to quarter wondering where the time went, why things didn’t go as well as they’d hoped and wondering when things will come good/right for them.

I’m still surprised by how many people think there is a ‘magic bullet’ that – once they find it – will fix everything.

In my (decades of experience) there is no such thing.

Solution:

The truth is often so much simpler.

We keep it really simple so it’s much more likely that it actually gets done, and works!

In this case, a sales message that a guy named Daniel sent him. 

Now, why do I want you to notice precisely that?

Well, because it’s a great example of how you can find ideas for content from things someone else is doing. 

Not from what you do. But what someone else does. 

And that’s great news because it simplifies your life. 

It means you don’t have to come up with all the right answers yourself. 

You can simply pay attention and share with your audience when you see something that seems worthwhile.
