1 – YOUR BUSINESS TIP
Well that’s another quarter gone and we are now getting into the groove of Quarter 2.
How is it going for you?
Too often it’s like being on a hamster wheel for many busy business owners . . . so much to do, not enough time to stop and think. And so, when the pressure is on we try and go faster, and faster. If you haven’t seen the video of the hamster on the wheel who goes so fast he spins out of control and flies across the cage . . . well you might just understand how that feels at times. I know I’ve done that in the past.
It doesn’t really work though . . . it just wears us out, and can lead to full on burnout which has huge adverse consequences for our businesses, our teams, clients and our families.
Going faster is exhausting and you’re guaranteed not to be thinking at your best either.
Solution:
This week we’re reminding our members – and all of our contacts – that sometimes ‘less is more’.
Let us encourage you to make sure you’ve learned the lessons from the last quarter and take some time to refine your plan for Quarter 2.
What do you really want to achieve in April, May and June?
A short focus helps you to make sure you claim the time in your diary/calendar to work ON your business and on your important goals. You’ll be amazed how much you can do in a month using our simple systems.

And maybe you’ll even join us in June where we walk you through how to really make sure you achieve your goals.
Don’t just dive in and get busy and go faster . . and faster.
Make sure you get CLEAR on WHAT you’re working towards and WHEN. We can help you with that.

2 – YOUR MARKETING/LINKEDIN TIP
Many LinkedIn experts are trying to push the idea that all of your content needs to be focused on solving problems for your audience.
I actually disagree with that.
In my opinion, you only need to position yourself as the expert who knows how to solve your audience’s problems.
But that doesn’t mean that every single one of your posts needs to be educational or problem-oriented.
Take a look at this post from Yurii Veremchuk, for example:
How many problems did Yurii solve for his audience with this post?
That’s right: zero.
And yet, it got a ton of engagement.
Now, this post won’t likely sell anything.
But, it will make Yurii more memorable and familiar. And both of those matter more than you think.
Solution:
Do you need more ideas when it comes to your posts? We’ve created a content calendar for each day of the month so you know exactly what to write and will never be sat there saying “I have no idea what to post” again! Get a copy of the content calendar below:
